Functional medicine takes a whole-body approach to care by identifying and addressing the root causes of illness, rather than just managing symptoms. I go beyond prescribing medications by correcting vitamin and nutrient deficiencies, addressing inflammation, restoring gut microbiome balance, and minimizing the effects of stress and toxins on the body.
Sol Renewed Health does not accept insurance, but we do accept HSA and FSA payments. By operating outside of insurance constraints, I’m able to spend more time focusing on your individualized care and addressing your unique health concerns.
We make every effort to code diagnostic tests to increase the likelihood of insurance coverage. However, many functional health tests are not covered by insurance. Prescription coverage will be determined by your insurance provider.
Prescriptions are sent electronically to your chosen pharmacy. Certain medications, including those for BHRT and TRT are sent to a compounding pharmacy and then are then shipped directly to you. For supplements, I frequently recommend products through Fullscript, an online platform offering medical-grade supplements. You’ll create an account, order your recommended supplements, and have them shipped directly to you.
I do not offer free discovery calls, but I provide a comprehensive initial consultation and follow-up that includes an in-depth review of your medical history, current lab results, and health goals. Even if you decide not to continue care, you will leave the consultation with valuable insights, lab result explanations, and personalized recommendations to help you move toward better health.
Yes, I am trained in family medicine and can serve as a primary care provider through my
practice. Many health concerns can be effectively managed via telehealth. However, I offer in-person office hours only on Tuesdays and some Saturday mornings. For this reason, I encourage patients to maintain a relationship with a local brick-and-mortar provider for annual physicals and health maintenance screening.
